I’ve known Emily since 2008 or so.  I promoted some shows with her back in Detroit, plus we were friends.  Around 2012, when I did some recording sessions in Detroit for a project I still can’t mention, Emily came through and tracked some bass with us.  Through Emily I’ve met and recorded with Tony “T Money” Green, Sonny Cool, Gene “Poo Poo Man” Anderson and indirectly, Ivan “Daddy I” Watson.  Emily stayed with us for a week or so during NAMM 2016.  During that time, we recorded a number or tracks, but most notably, Darryl‘s title track “Yesterday Again.”  That says it all.  Emily is my sister and musical friend for life.
