Bit of a funny story.  Sydney told me his little brother just moved to LA and didn’t know anyone, so being who I am, I reached out and welcomed him.  The first time Carlin finally come by was the next time Sydney was in town.  It wasn’t until then that I realized Sydney didn’t mean “little brother” literally.   Haha.  To date, Carlin is the best drummer I’ve worked with.  Carlin is playing ALL the drums on Darryl “Duffy” Glenn‘s album, “Yesterday Again.”  He’s even playing virtual bass on “Shaolin,” a super tough Wu-Tang feeling song that originally came from a jam with Nick Werth, Sly5thAve, Bluesy and others.  Carlin is a cool as he is talented.  Grateful to have him as part of the family.
