We met Farnell when came he through with our sis J Ross, Tony Ozier and the crew.  They were in town for a show and were extremely grateful to have such an accommodating and inspiring place to chill before their show.  We vibed out for a few hours.  They got to hear a bunch of songs we produced and were eager to get involved.  We had other horn players (Paul Weber and Reinhold Swartzwald) coming that day, so time was short, but I managed to get Farnell and Kyle Molitor over this secret track, I still can’t talk about.  The ideas they played, combined with what Paul and Reinhold played and later my edits and arrangements made that track one of the greatest, most D’Angelo like funk songs we’ve ever produced.
